The advantages of solar energy
- Solar energy is free. Fact is, the cost of electricity, gas and oil has been increasing each year and will continue to do so. Only the sun generates a free and unlimited source of energy. By installing solar panels, your investment allows you to benefit from an unlimited source of free energy for years to come.
- You save money. The Swiss federal and cantonal governments grant subsidies to all home owners who install solar panels (« Programme Bâtiments 2010 »). Some communes, such as Gland (VD), grant financial aide in addition to the cantonal subsidies granted.

- You positively contribute towards protecting the environment. By using solar energy, you help to reduce C02 emissions.
